The publication of the anthology, From the Streets to the Seats (2023), did more than launch a book; it opened a door. Students at the MiraCosta College Transitions Scholars program stepped through that doorway carrying stories that were meant to be told. From the Streets to the Seats 2 grows from that momentum. Like its predecessor, this volume is shaped by the voices of students themselves: stories written not only with honesty, but with the bold determination to turn lived struggles into knowledge, community, and hope.
